The elegant Helios building is in the very centre of Bareges with easy access both to ski slopes and the footpath network. Originally constructed in the C19th as a hotel by the Rothschild family it was recently converted into apartments of 'grand standing'. Bareges is a delightful Napoleonic spa village with the largest ski area in the Pyrenees, lying on the fringe of the National Park in an area of outstanding natural beauty it is also the ideal summer base for exploring. We have two adjoining apartments in the Helios each sleeping up to 6 persons. Upon arrival you will receive our comprehensive package of local information which includes walking routes, cycling routes, wildlife information, places to visit, useful local info (markets, restaurants) etc. For skiers we can organise lift passes, equipment hire and ski school as required. Summer visitors can join in with any of our organised activities (guided walks, transport drops) subject to space. Both apartments have off-street parking, swimming pool (small charge, open July and August), ski store, and squash court

Upper level- double bedroom with double bed, second bedroom with bunk beds, bathroom with shower and toilet. There is a fold down double bed in the lounge. Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. There is a huge terrace (18m2) with a panoramic view over Montagne Fleurie and St Justin. Large high windows offer clear views onto the surrounding mountains, the apartment faces north and west.
