Bareges is a paradise for the mountain biker with mile after mile of deserted trails in spectacular mountain scenery. The local MTB trails are waymarked and graded for your independent exploration. In July and August the La Laquette chairlift takes you and your bike to nearly 2000 metres for a variety of exciting routes back down the the valley. Experienced descenders will want to ride the Pic du Midi. Upon arrival we explain the possibilities and you will receive our own trail guide. There are 200kms of waymarked and graded MTB trails in the Bareges valley alone, our very own trail guide has all our favourite routes graded — easy rolling bridleways for beginners, long, long descents, lots of technical stuff and single track for experts off-road, descents of Tour de France classics – Luz Ardiden, Tourmalet, Aubisque, Cauterets.
Bike hire available (full suspension).
